| | Dictation Methods | PMT uses state of the art dial up and VOIP telephony systems for transcription. Local or Toll Free numbers are available for anywhere in the United States, or Canada. |
 | You can also use a variety of microphone types to dictate directly into your computer. The files are then sent to the transcriptionist using 256 bit encryption. |
 | High-tech hand held digital recorders that use removable media can also be used. When you have completed your dictation, you or your office staff simply put the card in a card reader and your files are sent to the transcriptionist assigned to your account. PMT uses 256 bit encrypted voice files for security. Olympus DS2300 or DS4000 Recorders are recommended and must be supplied by the physician practice. |
Printed Reports-
- The typed reports are automatically returned to your computer and appear directly on your desk top. Your office personnel can then print them and make any changes directly on the report using Word Perfect 8.0 or above, without the need to send them back to a transcriptionist for changes.
-
- The completed dictation is returned to you using password protected and encrypted files.
